Hiring a dress in Sydney?
Hire a formal or evening dress for four days from $100, with professional cleaning included. Collect it in Monterey or have it delivered and picked up across Sydney.
Hire is available within Sydney only. If you live elsewhere, you can buy the same dress and have it delivered.
Prefer to try on first? Book a private fitting
Our Monterey studio is a fitting room, not a shop floor: there are no rails to browse and no walk-ins. Book a time, tell us which dresses you would like to try, and we will have them ready when you arrive. Three to five dresses is the sweet spot.
The fitting fee is paid when you book, and it is credited towards your dress if you buy.
Weekday fitting
30 minutes · $20. A quick try-on of your shortlist, Monday to Friday.
Weekend fitting
30–45 minutes · $50. The same private try-on on a Saturday or Sunday.
Private fitting
45 minutes · $50. More time to compare and decide, just you and our stylist.
Personal styling
60 minutes · $100. One-on-one help putting together a look for your event.
Flower girl fitting
30–45 minutes · $50. Try on flower girl dresses with your little one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I visit without an appointment?
No. Our studio in Monterey is a private fitting room and opens by appointment only. There is no walk-in shopping.
Do I need an appointment to buy a dress?
No. Every dress can be ordered online and delivered anywhere in Australia.
Will every dress from the website be at my fitting?
Not every style is kept in every size at the studio. Tell us which dresses you would like to try when you book, and we will prepare them, subject to availability.
How do I choose my size online?
Measure your bust, waist and hips and compare them with our size guide. If you are between sizes, we usually recommend the larger one for fitted and corset styles. You are always welcome to message us before ordering.
Can I return or exchange a dress I bought online?
If you change your mind, return the dress unworn, with its tags still attached, within 3 business days of delivery for an exchange or store credit. Faulty items are covered by the Australian Consumer Law. All the details are in our returns policy.
How much is delivery?
Standard shipping is $15 Australia-wide and free on orders over $250. Every order is sent with tracking.
Can I hire a dress if I live outside Sydney?
Hire is available within Sydney only, because four days is not enough time for delivery and return interstate. If you are outside Sydney, you can buy the dress and have it delivered.
Can I pay later?
Yes. You can choose Klarna at checkout, or pay by credit or debit card.
Can I bring someone with me to a fitting?
Yes, you are welcome to bring someone with you.
How long is a fitting, and what does it cost?
Between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the appointment you book, from $20. The fee is credited towards your dress if you buy.
